QE2 Asteroid to Speed Pass by Earth at 'Close' Range
Scientists are planning to use radar imagery to observe the 1.7 mile-wide QE2 asteroid, which will pass earth at 3.6million miles on Friday. The asteroid, which is due to pass at its closest to us for the next two centuries, has been studied for size, shape, rotation and surface features.
